The opinions may differ but the fact is that sometimes even the sayings of the wise men don’t prove to be 100% true. This famous saying is no different as the saying itself involves a sense of expectation, which is definitely not a good sign for a true friendship.
The obstacle that comes in way of establishing a reliable relationship is that we have huge expectations. A true friend is the one who instead of helping you out, lets you help yourself. It is true that a best friend comes when everyone walks out, but sometimes he comes to make fun of the loser within you.
