Do you think there is a readymade list of instructions for all the parents on how to become role models for their children? No, this is not at all possible. If other children are different from yours' then so are the other parents different from you. So, all you can do is to tackle your child the way you feel the situation is. Do not try to fit your child in others' mould. If nature has made all of us different from one another then your child is no exception!

God has gifted you with enough sense of judgement and wisdom, then why don't you make the most out of it!

Here is the healthy parenting advice for you or you can say, a few guidelines for you being concerned parents for your growing child :

1. just be yourself and let your children be what they are

2. help them make their things easier rather than doing work for them

3. both the parents have to be equally active

4. do not be overpossessive, let them pave their own path for themselves

5. give them company and support whenever they need you, but do not make them dependant upon you

6. do not impose upon them what you want them to do, rather guide them how to do the things that they want to accomplish

7. give them your love and not your thoughts coz they have their own thoughts already

8. do not try to capture their souls, let them decide what they want from this life

9. try to be like them, but do not try to make them like you because they are to move forward and not backward

10. your child is like a plant which you can nourish with water and softening the soil but you cannot stretch them so that they can grow. let them move in their own direction. your genuine and selfless love and care will never let them astray. so, do not be insecure.

11. whatever morals you instill in your child at the budding stage, only that will come out of it later on.
